Begin Again
In the ups and downs of life, there are moments when we are forced to begin again.
Oftentimes, when people talk about beginning again, it is usually in the context of relocating, changing careers, or starting over after a relationship or marriage ended.
But I hardly hear about having to relearn things we once mastered because life happened.
People have had to relearn how to drive, how to walk, how to speak, how to eat, how to write, learn how to sleep again, or something else.
There is something deeply humbling about having to learn again what you once mastered. It can be frustrating, emotional, and sometimes difficult to accept, especially when you remember how easily those things once came to you.
It can also be lonely because you don’t want people to know you’re having to begin again, or you’re not ready to answer questions, so you keep that part of your life to yourself. Other times, you get so caught up in why it happened that you find it difficult to see a way forward.
But beginning again does not erase how far you have come. It does not take away your previous accomplishments or your strength.
The journey may not be as fast as you want it to be. Self-doubt will creep in, and giving up may seem like the best option. But what if you don’t give up? Things may never be as perfect as you want them to be, or even close to how they were before, but your progress still counts.
You got this ❤️
Till next time, remember that every tiny milestone you reach is a testament to your resilience and the strength it takes to keep going.
Also, remember that this journey is different for everyone.
Welcome to this New journey
ReplyDeleteStarting over doesn’t mean you failed. It just means you’re brave enough to try again with a brand-new playbook. ✨
When you find yourself back at square one, stop looking back at what you left behind. Instead, shift your energy and focus entirely, start focusing on the growth, the clean slate, the small steps, the inner peace, If starting over means protecting your mental health and alignment, it is a massive victory—not a setback.
I Love Your New Beginning and Becoming…. 🥰
I agree, it doesn’t mean you’ve failed. ❤️Sometimes, beginning again takes more courage than we realise. Thank you for reading and sharing your thoughts.
